Clearview Red Mulch
No better red mulch out there. Clearview Red Mulch is exclusive to DTG. We grind and color it at our facility. Clearview Red Mulch is made from clean lumber that comes in through our recycling division.
Dark Mulch
A beautiful, rich option. Dark Mulch is made from local brush and stumps and created right at our facility. We age it to a beautiful rich dark color. Our Dark Mulch is screened to 1” minus and is great for dressing beds, amending soil, and erosion control.
Double-Screened Dark Mulch
It’s like Dark Mulch, but a with a finer texture. Double Screened Dark Mulch is screened to ½” minus for a finer texture. Just like other products we have, it is created at our facility from recycled products, brush, and stumps.
Sof’fall
ADA-approved and IPEMA Certified. Designed specifically for playgrounds, Sof’Fall is an engineered wood fiber. Sof’Fall is ADA-approved, and IPEMA certified. Sof’Fall is also great for walkways and dog runs.
Hem/Fir Fines
Perfect Sawdust Substitute. Sawdust made from ground hemlock/fir wood. Screened to ½” minus. Great for use as a potting mix additive, animal bedding or ground cover.
Wood Chip Mulch
Made from recycled brush and stumps and screened to 3” minus, Wood Chip Mulch is great for erosion control, pathways, and muddy areas. Also available: screened to DOT specifications.

A soil mix that can be blown into place! Blower soil is a mixture of compost and sand. This material can be blown in for use in lawns, gardens or planters.
Hog Fuel
Recycled Brush and Stumps. Hog fuel is made from clean ground mixed species of brush and stumps. Hog fuel can be used for many projects, such as a temporary road base, pathways, or to help with erosion control.
3-Way Topsoil
All-Purpose Topsoil. 3-Way is our all-purpose topsoil mix. Like many other of our products, 3-Way Topsoil is produced at our facility with our recycled material.
Premium Topsoil (aka Garden Mix)
Provides Moisture Retention and Nutrients. A blend of 3-way topsoil and Olympic Garden Compost. Premium topsoil has a higher compost content, which helps provide moisture retention and nutrients.
Wintermix
Great for Lawns and Flower Beds. Wintermix is a soil compost sand mixture. Contains high sand content to encourage better drainage. It can be used for planting a new lawn, shrubs, and flower beds.
Recycled Concrete & Asphalt
Keep Concrete and Asphalt Out of Landfills. Our recycled concrete and asphalt are 1.25″ minus or 2 – 4” Crushed. Great for a road base, driveways, and compatible fill.
Olympic Garden Compost
Great for Landscape Beds. Our Olympic Garden Compost is made with yard waste, grass clippings, horse manure, and food waste. We produce this with time and temperature requirements to eliminate weed spores, and pathogens.
60/40 Bioretention Soil
Meets bio-retention and rain garden specifications. Comprised of 60% sand and 40% Olympic Garden Compost, this mix was designed to meet bio-retention / rain garden specifications.
70/30 Mix
Add Nutrients and improve drainage. A mixture of 70% Olympic Garden compost and 30% sand, this blend is perfect for mixing into your existing garden to add nutrients and improve drainage.
Half & Half (50/50 Mix)
A perfect 50/50 blend. 50% Olympic Garden compost and 50% sand. A great mixture for your lawn or garden. Available for pickup at Snohomish, Kingston & Bremerton.
3/4" / 5/8” Minus Crushed Rock
Great for driveways and pathways. Crushed gravel for driveways and pathways. This product is crushed and still has all of the fines in it, making it lock together for a solid surface for a parking area or a pathway.
3/4" / 5/8 Clean Crushed Rock
A cleaner, manicured look for your driveway. This gravel is crushed to the same size as the 5/8 minus but has the fines removed for a cleaner more manicured look.
1.25” Minus Crushed Rock
A great base material for your new driveway. Gravel crushed to 1.25”, this material has the fines still in it making it a great base material for putting in a new driveway or walkway.
1.5”/ 2” Clean Crushed Rock
A great base for those wetter areas
A larger crushed rock without fines. This is a great road-based material for use in wetter areas to create a stable base.
Drain Rock
Intended for drainage projects. Available in 7/8” and 1.5”, drain rock is a round rock intended for use in drainage projects. It can also be used for decorative purposes.
Washed Coarse Sand
Helps level your yard out. Coarse sand can be used to help level areas in your yard as well as improve drainage in your soil. Available for delivery.
Pea Gravel
Intended for drainage projects. Approx 3/8” in size, Pea Gravel is intended for use in drainage projects. Can also be used in decorative landscape areas.

What's the maximum capacity of the blower trucks?
It can be anywhere from 15 to 60 cubic yards, depending on material weight. Call us today (425-377-9009) and we’ll be happy to talk about your project!
How do I determine how much bark I will need?
Our bark products are sold per cubic yard. One cubic yard equals 27 cubic feet. The average bark bag has 2 cubic feet. Therefore, it takes 13 1/2 bags to equal 1 cubic yard when you buy bark in bags. We recommend you put down 3″ first and then add more periodically as it breaks down.
How far can the blower truck's hose reach?
Standard pricing includes 150 feet of reach. Each truck carries between 200 and 300 feet capacity hose.
Do I need to rake out the mulch after bark blowing service?
No, there’s no need to rake out the mulch after our bark blowing service. We make sure that our finished job is neat and uniform. We also blow underneath trees and shrubs!
Does bark blowing harm plants?
No, our bark blowing service is safe for your plants. Our operators adjust the machine’s speed and volume so that they can maneuver the mulch carefully around your more delicate plants. Our mulch materials also contain no chemicals. Rather, they are mostly made from recycled organic materials.
How do mulch blower trucks work?
Our mulch blowers are large diesel-powered machines pulled behind a truck. An interior conveyor and airlock system feeds the loaded mulch material toward a hopper, which sends it to a hose. The mulch is blown through the hose by the force of high-velocity air. Our operator accurately controls the mulch dispersion by adjusting the speed of the mulch blowing using a remote that can be worn as a belt. Applying different types of mulch materials requires varying levels of air pressure and adjusting for different moisture levels and mulch types.
Which is better: mulch blowing or hand mulching?
Mulch blowing is more cost-effective than manual mulching because it only takes a few individuals to do the job. The blower machine reduces material costs by breaking up material clumps as it feeds mulch via the hose using rotating paddles. Mulch blowers spread mulch materials more quickly than someone using a wheelbarrow and a shovel, which decreases labor costs.
How long does bark last?
The lifespan of bark can range from two to three years, depending on its size and the quantity of the initial application. Typically, the first to deteriorate and turn into a soil amendment is the bottom layer. Some of our clients renew every year because they enjoy the appearance and smell of fresh bark.
