Acceptable Materials

Concrete – Clean concrete, concrete with metal, brick, cinder block, tiles, etc.
Asphalt
Roofing – Composite roofing only
Clean wood – Construction lumber, pallets, untreated fencing, etc. (ready to grind)
Wood – Clean wood loads containing 5% or less painted (no lead), pressure-treated, or creosote-treated wood
Wood – Chipped trees and branches
Brush, stumps, and logs from land clearing (no dirt)
Mattresses
Metal – Steel, aluminum, copper, iron, lead, brass and all other metals
Drywall

Prohibited Materials

Commercial and household garbage
Liquids, items containing liquid and saturated material
Gas-filled containers (e.g., propane)
Hazardous materials or anything containing hazardous materials. We do not accept any materials that are regulated by state or federal environmental or hazardous substance laws.
Tires
Uncertified demolition waste
Biomedical Waste
Asbestos or materials that are suspected of containing asbestos
Lead Paint
Fluorescent light bulbs
Batteries
Burned Materials
Telephone poles and railroad ties
Any other materials that present a risk to our employees, our equipment or our facility, as determined by the Site Supervisor in his or her sole discretion.
